West Coast Sailing, claiming to be "North America's leading source for small sailboats, sailboat parts, and sailing apparel", provide an overview of the boat, and answer some questions.
When the Stonehaven Cup National Council came to consider participating clubs’ replacement of the Australian 12 Foot Cadet Dinghy used in their sail training and racing programs for teenagers, it ultimately selected the RS Quest.
To come to this decision it followed a formal decision process comparing a number of options against defined and weighted decision criteria. Other clubs might, of course, have other decision criteria and weightings, but these may provide some food for thought.
