About Us

Our Mission

To support clubs and other sailing organisations in their use of RS Quest dinghies for training and racing, with particular focus on engaging young people with the sport of sailing and their chosen sailing club.

Our Goals

  • To promote use of the RS Quest dinghy for training and racing

  • To facilitate sharing of club experiences in use of RS Quest dinghies

  • To develop and publicise class equipment rules

  • To encourage state and national competitions

  • To support clubs and sailing organisations in acquisition, set-up, and use of RS Quest dinghies for training and racing

Our Guiding Principles

  • The association will support ALL forms of training and racing consistent with the RS Quest design brief

  • The association recognises that organisers of racing events should nominate permitted equipment drawn from the options provided by the builder. These include use, or otherwise, of an asymmetric spinnaker, a symmetric spinnaker, a trapeze, and/or foredeck

  • The focus of the association will reflect the interests and efforts of participating clubs and sailing organisations
